Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Find up and know-well the BSDA’s Identity, Core Value,Vision, Mission and Strategic Direction.
  • Conduct training to child and youth club leaders including girls and deprived children on:
  1. Child Participation in Commune Development Process.
  2. Commune Development Process.
  3. Child participation action research/assessment/child rights assessment tool.
  • Provide financial and technical support to children to participate in CIP process/school development plan and monitoring.
  • Support children and youth, especially girls and deprived children and youth groups to conduct monthly and quarterly meetings at village and district level.
  • Support children and youth to conduct child participatory action research/assessments, consultation and launching their finding with stakeholders.
  • Conduct training (including coaching) on (1)- Child Participation in CIP process and (2)- Child sensitive in local budget main
  • Work with project coordinator to conduct annual reflection workshop with key stakeholders at provincial level.
  • Facilitate with state schools in Districts to make smoothly.
  • Promote the importance of education amongst children and the community.
  • Monitor and follows up the performance of the Outreach Workers and the children at both public and extra classes (non-formal education).
  • Provide link response services (education) to the target children and community people through coordination with relevant service providers.
  • Develop the education condition for the target children and community through connecting with community resources.
  • Produce monthly work plan and sending the activity report to the Provincial Coordinator.
  • Contribute to the technical and financial reporting, and programme communications.
  • Coordinate the day-to-day implementation of the program activities to ensure that the overall work plan and objectives are followed.
  • Maintain good relationship with donors, government departments and other partners at national, provincial and district level and facilitate working relationship and build good rapport between government departments.
  • Oversee and provide inputs in developing and finalizing funding proposal to submit to donors and resource mobilization.
  • Design training and workshops and to facilitate planning meetings in communities.
  • Ensures monitoring, evaluation, and improvement/ modification of program activities and outcomes, revising activities as necessary to ensure the programme outcomes are achieved on time and within budget.
  • Ensure reports of the programme unit activity including case studies , training reports and other publications.
  • Report for daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly to direct supervisor and others line management, if necessary.
  • Contribute to proposal development and improve the strategy of the programme.
  • More responsibilities if any.


  • Bachelor degree in educational science and languages and Education Degree.
  • Holding the certificate of pedagogy.
  • Experience of 2 years in teaching and/or training at both school and community base.
  • Loving and commit to work with orphans, vulnerable children and community people.
  • To be good at speaking and writing advanced English.
  • Can use computer with Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and others.
  • Flexible attitude, independent, and teamwork personality.
